A house. Real walls, real plumbing, real foundation, real roof. Permits pulled, inspections passed. Insurable. Habitable. Sellable.
Every material. Every stud, sheet, fixture, window, appliance. Sourced from someone else's discard. Craigslist free, curb haul, demo job leftovers, contractor surplus, estate clearouts, manufacturer overruns. Nothing bought new. Nothing scavenged poorly.
The Distinction
This is not a junk-art shack. Not a hippie commune build. Not a sculpture. The constraint is only the sourcing. Everything else is professional construction. The point is to prove that the waste stream already contains a complete, code-compliant house in pieces, if someone has the patience and skill to assemble it correctly.
What It Argues
The bottleneck on housing affordability isn't materials. It's coordination, knowledge, and patience. A house already exists out there in fragments. The work is finding and assembling the parts.
